Ashleigh is a New York City-based performer and educator. Originally from the Washington, DC area, she was first nipped by the performance bug playing a Miss Hannigan in a 5th grade production of Annie (yes, there is photographic evidence, no you cannot see it). Since that debut, Ashleigh has appeared in two National Tours, performed at New World Stages, Birdland and the Joyce Soho, and worked in regional theatre around the country. In addition to her theatre experience, she is also a cabaret vocalist, a member of the voice faculty at Cap 21/Molloy College and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, a private voice and acting coach at Broadway Artists Alliance of NYC, and a Singing Voice Specialist affiliated with the NYU Langone Voice Center.

Ashleigh holds a Masters Degree in Musical Theatre Vocal Performance/Vocal Pedagogy from New York University, where she was a member of the voice faculty for two yearsShe also holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the New School University in NYC, is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and was a founding member of Tip My Cup Productions where she served as Artistic Director from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Ashleigh is a really big Tudor England history nerd and contributed to the Chawton House Library Edition of Mary Hays' six volume Female Biography (1803) under the direction of Professor Gina Luria Walker (2013, 2014). She is also a SCUBA diver, a certified sommelier, and is completely obsessed with French Bulldogs.
